SCOPE
What this service covers.
Only the work we actually do — no padded list. If you are not sure whether your job fits, send a photo and we will tell you straight.
Flower bed planting
Shrubs, perennials, and seasonal color chosen for full Texas sun, heavy clay soil, and the water they will actually get.
Bed expansions and new beds
Cutting new beds or widening existing ones to fit the house, with the soil worked before anything goes in.
Stone borders and edging
Stacked stone, block, or a cut edge — a defined line between bed and lawn that the mower can follow.
Mulch and ground cover
Holding moisture and keeping weeds down, which in this climate does more work than it does in milder places.

Why people call about this.
The beds have gone shapeless
Edges lost, shrubs outgrown, mulch gone. Common, and very fixable in a day or two.
A new build with bare ground
A finished house with builder sod and nothing else, and no obvious place to start.
Plantings keep dying
Usually soil or water rather than the plant. Both are worth checking before buying replacements.
MILLICAN, TX
Landscaping & Flower Beds in Millican: what’s different here.
Millican is a small unincorporated community of a few hundred people (240 at the 2010 census) in southern Brazos County, at FM 2154 and FM 159 between the Brazos and Navasota rivers. Settled in the 1820s and briefly the end of the Houston and Texas Central Railway in the 1860s, it is now rural, with pasture, post oak woods, and creek bottoms toward the Navasota River. As unincorporated county land, Millican falls under the Brazos County Floodplain Development Permit for construction in mapped floodplain and the Brazos County Health District for septic, and the long county roads make access and material delivery part of the plan.
Lawn & Landscape Care in Millican
Millican properties are mostly acreage, so mowing means large open areas, fence lines, and pasture edges rather than a weekly town-lot cut.
The ground
Ground around Millican runs from sandy post oak uplands to heavy clay in the creek and river bottoms, so one tract can have both well-drained high ground and low ground that stays wet.
Homes and lots
Rural homes on ten-acre homesites and larger tracts along FM 2154 and FM 159, with ranchland and very few small lots.
