Rock waterfalls
Stacked natural stone at the pool edge, built on a solid footing so the rock stays put.
Spa spillovers and sheer descents
A raised spa spilling into the pool, or a sheet of water from a wall or ledge.
Fountains in the landscape
Bubblers and fountains set in beds or patios, sized to the space and easy to keep running.
Pumps and plumbing
Pumps, lines, and controls hidden from view, with the electrical connection handled by a licensed electrician we coordinate.

Why people call about this.
The pool looks plain
A rock feature or spillover gives an ordinary pool a focal point.
Road or neighbor noise
Running water covers background noise better than a fence does.
A corner of the yard with no purpose
A fountain set in a bed or at the end of a path gives it one.
NAVASOTA, TX
Water Features in Navasota: what’s different here.
Navasota is a town of about 7,600 people (2020 census) in Grimes County on a bend of the Navasota River, the largest town in the county. It grew as a railroad shipping center in the 1800s, keeps a historic downtown of stone and brick buildings, and was named the Blues Capital of Texas by the Legislature in 2005. Inside city limits, fences and other construction are permitted through the City of Navasota Building & Permitting Office on East McAlpine Street, with applications filed through the city’s online portal; outside town, Grimes County rules apply.
Pools & Spas in Navasota
Pools inside Navasota go through the city’s permitting office, and on county acreage around town the septic field and low ground decide where the pool can go.
The ground
Grimes County uplands are gray sandy loams over clay subsoil, with dark clay alluvium in the Navasota River floodplain, so drainage and base depth depend heavily on which side of town and how close to the river a property is.
Homes and lots
Older homes on in-town lots near downtown, newer subdivisions such as Pecan Lakes Estates at the golf course, and acreage homes in the county around town.
